es ist schützenumzug, der höhepunkt des schützenfestes - die sonntägliche parade - ganz vorne, in der mitte des bildes steht der schützenkönig mit seiner frau - er trägt einen schwarzen anzug mit weissem hemd und silberner kravatte - seine ganze Brist ist mit silbernen orden behängt - seine frau trägt ein hellblaues kleid mit umhand, eine silberne krone in ihre silbergraue frisur gesteckt / it's the parade of protection, the highlight of the protection festival - the sunday parade - at the very front, in the middle of the picture stands the king of protection with his wife - he wears a black suit with a white shirt and a silver tie - his whole brist is hung with silver medals - his wife wears a light blue dress with a cape, a silver crown tucked into her silver-gray hairstyle /

ein junghirte mit einer kuh. sie ist mit einer großen glocke und einem kopfschmuck festlich geschmückt. es ist almabtrieb. die tiere kommen über den winter in den stall. / a young shepherd with a cow. it is festively decorated with a large bell and a headdress. it is almabtrieb. the animals come into the stable for the winter.

junghirte

es ist viehscheid, auch almabtrieb genannt - die kühe werden von den almen ins tal geführt - von einem sammelplatz, wo viele schaulustige touristen auf sie warten, werden die tiere mit anhängern zum stall auf dem jeweiligen bauernhof transportiert - auf diesem bild ist ein junger mann mit brauner filzmütze zu sehen, der mit seinem fuß einer kuh an das hinterbein tritt / it's cattle drive time - the cows are led from the mountain pastures into the valley - from a gathering place, where many curious tourists are waiting for them, the animals are transported with trailers to the stable on the respective farm - in this picture you can see a young man with a brown felt cap kicking a cow on the hind leg with his foot /

weinfest in bernkastel-kues. ein winzer stellt den kardinal nicolaus von cues dar. er thront auf seinem wagen. mit erhobenem rechten arm grüßt er die schaulustigen am strassenrand. in der linken hand hält er ein großes weinglas / wine festival in bernkastel-kues. a winemaker represents cardinal nicolaus of cues. he is enthroned on his carriage. with raised right arm he greets the onlookers at the roadside. in his left hand he holds a large wine glass

inthronisation der weinkönigin - die frisch gekürte weinkönigin sitzt auf ihrem dunkelroten thronsessel - lächelnd hält sie ein großes weinglas in der hand - im hintergrund stehen einige personen - ein mit einem nadelstreifenanzug gekleideter mann, ist sichtbar stolz / enthronement of the wine queen - the newly crowned wine queen sits on her dark red throne - smiling, she holds a large wine glass in her hand - in the background stand some people - a man dressed in a pinstripe suit is visibly proud /

buttnmandllaufen im berchtesgadener land - ein bauer führt den im bischofsgewand gekleideten nikolaus, der von einem in stroh eingehüllten buttnmandl und einem gangerl begleitet wird zu einem hof - der gangerl trägt eine schwarze teufelsmaske, ist in fell gekleidet, mit ketten umhangen und führt einen stock mit sich / buttnmandl run in berchtesgadener land - a farmer leads nikolaus, dressed in a bishop's robe, who is accompanied by a buttnmandl wrapped in straw and a gangerl to a farm - the gangerl wears a black devil's mask, is dressed in fur, has chains around his neck and carries a stick with him /

tanz unter dem maibaum - es ist kaiserwetter, keine wolke am himmel - der dirigent, in kurzer lederhose, weste und hut gekleidet, stimmt mit seinem taktstock die musik an - hinter ihm bewegen sich die tanzpaare im kreis / dancing under the maypole - it's imperial weather, not a cloud in the sky - the conductor, dressed in short lederhosen, waistcoat and hat, starts the music with his baton - behind him the dancing couples move in a circle /

tanz unter dem maibaum - es ist kaiserwetter, keine wolke am himmel - ein tanzpaar in trachten gekleidet - im hintergrund ist ein anderes tanzpaar sowie die zuschauer, die einen großen kreis um das geschehen bilden, zu sehen / dancing under the maypole - it's imperial weather, not a cloud in the sky - a dancing couple dressed in traditional costumes - in the background you can see another dancing couple and the spectators forming a large circle around the event /

maitanz am abend - an einem langen, mit blau-weiss karierter tischdecke bedecktem tisch, sitzen die gäste des festes - zwei junge frauen unterhalten sich lachend - zwei junge männer sind schon eingeschlafen - der eine stützt seinen kopf auf sein knie, der andere hat seinen kopf auf der tischkante abgelegt - auf diese scenerie machte mich ein mann mit den worten "hier kannst du ein original bayrisches Bild machen" aufmerksam / may dance in the evening - at a long table covered with a blue and white chequered tablecloth, the guests of the party are sitting - two young women are laughing and chatting - two young men have already fallen asleep - one is leaning his head on his knee, the other has put his head on the edge of the table - a man drew my attention to this scenery with the words "here you can take an original bavarian picture" /

maitanz am abend - die gäste, alle leger in trachten gekleidet, stimmen laut singend und mit ihren weissbiergläsern im takt mitschwingend, in den text der musik ein - frau maaaiiieer / maitanz in the evening - the guests, all casually dressed in traditional costumes, singing loudly and swaying along to the beat with their weissbier glasses, join in with the lyrics of the music - frau maaaiiieer /

schäferlauf - auf einem stoppelfeld stehen die beiden sieger - sie und er - sie tragen beide eine große, mit "edelsteinen" verzierte goldene krone auf dem kopf - vor ihnen steht ein kameramann des lokalen fernsehsenders - an der linken bildseite ist die tribüne mit vielen besuchern zu sehen / shepherd's race - the two winners stand on a stubble field - she and he - they both wear a large golden crown decorated with "gemstones" on their heads - in front of them stands a cameraman from the local television station - the grandstand with many visitors can be seen on the left side of the picture /

bratwurstfest - im bierzelt kocht die stimmung hoch - ein mann in sportlicher kleidung steht auf seiner sitzbank und schwänkt sein taschentuch im takt der musik - bierkrüde stehen auf den tischen / bratwurstfest - the atmosphere in the beer tent is boiling - a man in sporty clothes stands on his bench and waves his handkerchief to the beat of the music - beer mugs stand on the tables /

bratwurstfest - im bierzelt kocht die stimmung hoch - eine familie, die frau, der mann und die beiden töchter stehen schon auf der sitzbank - die erwachsenen salutieren mit ihren masskrügen - der mann schreit mit weit geöffnetem mund sein prooosiiit / bratwurstfest - the atmosphere in the beer tent is boiling - a family, the wife, the husband and the two daughters are already standing on the bench - the adults salute with their mugs - the man shouts his prooosiiit with his mouth wide open /

totengräbergilde - in der vordersten reihe stehen die mit frack, zylinder und grün-weisser binde gekleideten herren der gilde - im hintergrund stehen ein matrose und eine gruppe in marine uniform gekleidete offiziere / totengräbergilde - in the front row stand the gentlemen of the guild dressed in tailcoat, top hat and green and white bandage - in the background stand a sailor and a group of officers dressed in navy uniform /
